LL71 of 2024 expanded LL126's parking structure inspection program — shortening the cycle for structures with prior deficiencies and tightening enforcement. DOB can restrict access to non-compliant structures.

What the law requires

  • Schedule periodic inspections on the new accelerated LL71 cycle, especially if prior SREM findings exist.
  • Retain a Qualified Parking Structure Inspector (QPSI) to perform the condition assessment.
  • File condition assessment reports with DOB.
